Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

just back from uk and i seemed to have used up 15e over a day without doing much on my phone, i had gps on and gave it tom someone else who was using the wifi and gmail etc, but dont think it would have been 15e worth

does gps usage abroad cost a lot? i thought it was a free service?

    GPS is free.
    GPRS isn't.

i'm confused. Were you using gps (global positioning system), a system which uses satellites to tell you your location, or gprs (general packet radio service), a system which allows you to use the internet on the phone?

if the former, it should have cost you nothing, if the later you were probably saying upwards of 3c per kilobyte

its possible that its using agps (assisted) - which uses a data connection

If you were using a free navigation app like Nav4All (http://www.nav4all.com/) then a data connection is made every few mins to download the updated mapping and routes
