Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Culpability surrounding following managers instructions?

Would someone have legal recourse if they were sacked for following managers instructions that are outside the operating procedures of their role?

For instance, if someone in a retail environment was never provided training regarding these operating procedures and merely handed them to read in their own free time and their manager subsequently instructed them to carry out over-rides etc that would go against the company's fraud controls would this consist of the 'gross negligence' required for that person to lose their job?

It depends. It is a matter of facts rather than a matter of law. It also sounds like you are seeking legal advice for a specific matter, so I'm closing this thread.
