was in the other day and one of the guys was saying there are definite plans to open at midnight, as ordered by the district manager (who also oversees operations in blanch and ongar).

they were all ready to go for a midnight opening for the ps3 but it didn't happen because of security reasons, so they opened at 8AM the next morning instead. they also planned to open for halo3 but there just wasn't enough pre-orders to justify it.

yeah i expected they'd open at midnight, unless there are security issues... which there probably won't be with GTA. not the same level of worry compared to the ps3 launch.

(i used to work there, which is why i was curious as to who it was by the by)

I've changed from play to Gamesnash because they should get it to me sooner. Great to have an Irish online games retailer. The UK ones were always causing problems with P&P for me.

after the hassle with cdwow, i managed to pre-order one in Xtravision on saturday and will be collecting it this time tomorrow night as they are opening late. just need to work out how many hours sleep i need to get me through a day of work on tuesday now.

And don't get me started on CDWOW,canceled my order on 6th April and STILL haven't got my money refunded.
