...any song for Trapattoni has to be short and simple so it can catch on.
Here's my contribution: (sung to the tune of that Vieira / Nemanja song)

    Giovanni, oh oh oh,
    Giovanni, oh oh oh.
    he comes from Serie A,
    We're going to Africa.

Why I'm hapopy about this signing:
"Qualifying for the World Cup in 2010 will be hard, and playing against the Italian team will make me proud, but it should be possible for Ireland to come first."

Stan, Kerr, McCarthy, even Charlton would never have said that. Its a winning mentality, and thats what you need

Anyone watching Sky News? Capello sent Trap his best of luck wishes. Either Cap or Trap (Trappo I think) mentioned that the Italians are now "taking over Great Britain".

Unless Trappo has Mussolini like plans to kick Bertie out of power, invade England and appoint Capello as governer of New West Ireland, he may want to watch what he is saying :D

I know they cheaped out when they went for Staunton but surely they would have went for a proper manager without help, or would they?

Nothing that teh FAI do amazes me anymore. Only in ireland could John Delaney still have a job. What a joker.

The FAI have been taking corporate sponsorship since the 50's.

Did you call for Delaneys head when he announced the Eircom deal?

I wonder what that gimp Keane is thinking? ''Go for Venables'' idiot.

Apparently this isn't corporate sponsorship. It's "no strings attached" money to get the best manager we can afford.

I'd do the same if I were a billionaire! :)

? Surely its a good thing that they got someone else to fund something they would have had to pay for themselves. Assuming its as they say there really isnt a way to give out about them on this.
