How many amps are there in a volt?

    My mate, he says there is 16 amps in a volt, I think there is only 14.

    Don't mind your mate he obviously hasn't a clue, you are correct, there is most definitely 14 amps in a volt! :D

    That's the imperial measure. Metric is 1A in one 1V.

    But you can't add V's and A's. Oh no. That akin to adding apples and oranges.

    well one amp is equal to 2.16x10^8 macaroons but when comparing it to volts it gets more difficult - like comparing mpg with km/l
