DSL modem for BT's 8MB connection

Good morning.

Just got a BT Line and 8mb broadband connection into the house yesterday and it came with a router. but i dont want their router, i just want a modem to plug into a Linksys RV042 (dual WAN router, since i also have NTL Cable 6mb). Anyway, what DSL modem am i looking for? is there anything special i need to do to get this setup?

Is it possible to switch the BT router to Bridge mode so it doesn't act as a router anymore?

not sure about the bridge mode. Have to look into that. The modem looks grand! Thanks!

The BT Voyager 210 can be switched to bridged mode relatively painlessly. I'd save yourself some cash and do that.

after looking in the settings a bit, I can't seem to find it. Any help? Might be staring me in the face, as things usually do...

i found the answer! http://www.puzbie.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=143 Works perfectly at the moment with an Apple Airport Express, now all i need to do is order the Linksys RV042...
