Need to remove the alternator out of a 2000 1.1 Fiat Seciento.....how much trouble is this. It has to be done as i can't get a replacement till I find a number on the alternator.
My mate says its only fixed by a few bolts, an if I remove the wheel and the wheel arch it'll be straightforward enough...

    Thoughts.....

If its buggered it will have to come off anyway... but its probably better (cheaper) to get it repaired than replaced.

3 different alts fitted to '00 1.1's, does yours have the adjusting slot on the alt bracket or on a link?
