Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    lol

At least Eboue can say that's why he did it. Keane used to do it for no reason other than pure thuggery

Jaysis, Anderson's ball through to Rooney just now was exceptional.

His best game in a Utd shirt yet.

actually i had my thigh bone broken and missed a whole season from a tackle like that i did however get up and the other player was only booked so dont talk absolute ****e that you know absolutely ****ing nothing about,
i'm sure you dont know of to many who've had their upper leg broken so you can imagine the tackle.
anyway all he did was lead with his leg, probably slightly dangerous and deserving the red and evra should be booked now and banned on further viewing,
jesus its ****in annoying when people talk ****e like you.

You broke your thigh bone? As in your femur? That must have really took one hell of a tackle, your femur is stronger than cement!

How long did it take you to recover from that?

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 9,648 Mod ✭✭✭✭mayordenis

like would any mod do nothing here no? as far as i'm concerned being accussed of a bitchy whine is abuse, when desf madea stupid comment, i can't stand up for myself, evra clearly made a huge meal of it(as big as i've ever seen, only equaled by other utd players) and that for has less of a place in football than tackles that are somewhat over-zealous.

think about if you get a stick of cement it isn't actually as hard as you think to break, the muscle bleeding took longer to heal about 7/8 months, not a clean full break like, a good 11 months without any football or training of any kind really,
and yea a horrific tackle but an even worse suicide of a pass from my midfield colleague.

your team lost, desf trying to wind you up knowing it be easy, you replied, desf tries again.

tbh i think your right evra did make a meal of it as he was barely touched so i was letting you put your poitn accross as imo you were right.

Well I suppose it makes a difference from last weeks game eh :p

Worst performance by Arsenal in years. Its a disgrace that none of the team seemed to have any fire in their bellies at all. As an Arsenal fan it seemed to me they were all thinking about staying fit for the the Champions League game midweek.

    Disgusted.

    what a disaster of a match :(

It certainly proves Lehman is past it though! Great keeper in his day but his reflexes are completely f*ked. The first, second and fourth goals could have been saved by a goal keeper like Shay Given. For the fourth goal, he was actually in the f*king goal when he tried to save the ball! The ball had crossed the line before he even touched it!

    WHAT!?!?

Lehmann was Arsenal's ONLY good player! Even the BBC said he did well.

look at the 1st 2nd and 4th goals again, you would expect your keeper to save them, good play to create the chance but all them went tru him rather than by him.

Would expect my clubs keeper to save those.

how about watch the match instead of listening to those muppets. Two headers passed him at his near post ffs. They're not easy saves but he should have made them. Rooney's goal would have taken a very good save but again one that a keeper in good form would have made. He was slow (relative to other keepers) to get his hands up. Oh I almost forgot he didn't even COME OUT to collect the cross for Fletcher's first cross!!!

dont think you understand, a professional keeper should save every shot thats within his reach. Lehman conceded 3 that went past him in his standing space 1st one a faster hand up would saved it, 2nd a hand right, 4th one left hand.

that doesnt mean united got lucky its entirely plausible had he saved them utd would have scored them from other chances.

but a pro keeper should save every shot thats within his reach even the really hard shots.

That's a point - are they more concerned with Milan than an FA cup match? Possibly. But bragging rights still count and for me if you show up you should play.
