    I'd so like to play basketball, but except Limerick University, thr seems no field in Limerick city.
    Is there anyone knows any field near Limerick city? and if it is free, it will be the best!;)

    For a basketball team, The Limerick Lions (www.limericklions.com) are Limerick Cities team in the Superleague, while the Limerick Lakers play in Division 2 (www.limericklakers.com).

    There are 2 indoor basketball places in UL (the University Arena & the old Sports hall, behind the new building). Grove Island has a basketball court too. Many schools in the city do as well but i dont know if they open to the public
