another way to find comp it's to google "competition deadline ... (for example february 2012) I always find a few.. hope it helps somebody...

Thanks Sasser, yeah they send me tons of junk mail, in fairness I do ring them the odd time for an insurance quote but their prices are ususally 100-200 dearer than the brokers. It all goes into the recycle bin!

In fairness, I was receiving loads of junk mail from them, having phoned up for home and car insurance quotes over the years, but when I asked them to take my details off their mailing lists, they did it straight away. On the other hand, I always hold on to those pre-pay addressed envelopes and pop a sticker over them and use them for my own post - these are recessionary times

I would come across some through FB, if you like a page you often get their updates, which includes their competitions. Also some websites run regular comps so just check back with them regular to see if a new comp is being run.

Just keep plugging away, you win something eventually. I'd say I've entered a hundred competitions and won a hoody and a t shirt.

One bit of advice, use gmail and either use a different variation of your email address or a competition only address so you can filter all the competition spam quite easily.

I find that on facebook they do not always contact you when you win. They just say winner is ... please email to collect your prize. So I google myself and keep an eye on facebook for winners names.
