I think the more competitions you do the better chance you have of wining.
Also the more bother you have to go to the better because others will be put off. Mcd have a good one at the moment on facebook you have to draw the artist you want to win tickets to.

I think its great the way we all contribute to this thread,
none of us could find all these competitions on our own.
    Good Luck

Thank you very much eliza, I won a pair of tickets off this competition. :)

I love their music and own at least 5 of their albums so I'm really chuffed to be going to see them live. Excuse my horrendous drawing.

okay lads, "where the 3 sisters meet"
the barrow, the nore and the suir i'd say. Do you reckon the answer is the celtic sea or is there a more specific place they have in mind?

Just found this : The Barrow Bridge crosses two of the three sisters, the Nore and the Barrow. They then join the River Suir just downstream of the bridge. This place is known as Cumar na dTri Uisce "the confluence of the 3 waters".

I won one of the first competitions I entered on entertainment.ie, getting two tickets to Stornoway in Crawdaddys a month or so ago. Nice gig! I wonder if it's impossible for me to win now - checking the recent winner list shows no duplicates, so maybe they prevent "recent" winners from winning any other competitions for a while.

Yeah had a read of that earlier, pretty funny. Didn't enter the comp, and while I think the others were rightfully miffed (her photo didn't seem very impressive, while some of the others were incredible - seems more like a random draw than picking the best photo), there is a thing called losing gracefully :)
