    Hi

I'm putting together an order for a new PC for myself, and a lot of people were recommending the 8800 GT graphics card.

I'm not a gamer - I don't think I'd really need something heavy duty like this.

I'm thinking a decent 256Mb card should suffice for regular multimedia Vista use? Could somebody recommend one?

    Cheers

Will you be watchin HD movies or the like? Whoever recommended you an 8800GT is totally off especially if you dont play games..

Alos what kind of monitor will you have?

Something like this would do the trick!

I have that 8400, great for movies and general useage, even manages some games reasonably well :D

Also you could probably get away with vista on onboard graphics, the whole "areo" thing wears off after about 3 - 4 uses of it :D

Nice one for that - I think something like this would be perfect!

Haven't bought the monitor yet, would be just going for a 19"

What motherboard are you getting? I seriously think you could get away without a graphics card if it has decent onboard graphics!
