Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Put my new system together today.all was fine until I started installing Vista 64bit. Got to the screen to select which HDD to install vista on (I have 2 sata 500GB drives) but I get a message "windows is unable to find a system volume that meets its criteria for installation". It recognises both drives and gives me the details (space available) but wont let me go further. Anyone have similar issues?

Strange, I haven't come across a SATA controller that Vista didn't work out-of-the-box with yet. Do you have lots of free space on your drives? Vista needs loads, unfortunately. If the problem is with the controller, it might be worth going into your BIOS and setting it to run in "legacy" or IDE mode (term can vary from board to board) - i.e. turning off AHCI. That should make for maximum compatibility.

Yeah my board is a P5k Premium. Got it sorted with a bit of bios messing in the end. SO all is good. Cheers folks. :D

Typing this from the new system btw. yay.

Just having a couple of other issues though. Not sure if its Vista or the Asus software but it wont hold the connection to my wireless network and keeps swiching to a diferent network.

Having problems getting sound to work aswell.
