Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey,
If anyone thats been to/know about Santa Barbara, San Clemente or Huntington/Newport area could ye tell me what ye think. About 6 of us heading over and we dont wanna spend our summer without a job. If people have any positive news about these or any other spots on the West coast let me know.
Alot of the other threads seem to have warnings over the west coast in general, need something to look forward to!!

    Thanks!:)

    Hey,
I did a J1 in Santa Barbara summer before last and it was amazing! JObs are really easy to get.
Places like American Eagle hired anyone who applied the summer we were there. Lots of jobs available in restuarants and call centres too.

Most Irish stay in Isla Vista which is about 20 mins away by bus. That's where the college is and all the students live so lots of young people around and lots of parties! Santa Barbara is such a nice town, people really friendly and really nice beaches. Went back to visit last summer again and havent heard of anyone who didnt like it!

If you have any questions feel free to ask!
