No, I was never even contemplating selling any of my IO ticket, esp in a sat. Other tournies might be a different thing though.

    I'm just greedy, ignore me.......

I'm so looking forward to the IO it's unreal. As an average player I probably have zero chance of winning it but the target is to play as well as possible and let the finishing position take care of itself....and Dewolfe if you are reading....NO DEALS..

Like most of us. I would love to run sick good, Jamie Gold in WSOP 2007 good for 4 days.

If not, I will be happy with playing well, not get sucked out on too much, or in too crucial a place.

I've done a deal with the Devil, I actually got a better deal than Jamie Gold, but I've been promised the title and money and I can play any 2 cards in any position and hit, or if I dont, my opponent will make a good read and fold. If you need his business card, PM me.....lol

If you play at 100% of what you are capable of then the rest is up to POKAH away up there in the sky. Remember you FT'd one of these type of things before - so you shouldn't feel in any way out of your depth.

Oh god no, not out of depth. I'll be neither the worst nor the best there but I just want to get a proper run at it as I got stopped in my tracks and pulled up by the roots when I finally looked like getting going last year.

    Well done dom, brillant result....

I never got going,,, raised to 600 on the button with 2h 2s ala NicNic style, when there were a few limpers into pot.
    get 3 callers,

Flop comes down As 2d 3s:):)

Guy bets out 1k, i ship he calls and turns of 4h5h for de nutz:o:o
    No help, buy-in .....sigh.

never got going with my other buy-in......

Played cash and gave oberon all my buy-in with a horrendously played pocket 10's, versus his 45offsuit for a turned 2 pair....... yuck.......

Great to see so many boardsies getting tickets

 OMG no way you had 10 10 there?

    Please please, I know DONKEEEEEEEEE
Donal raised, I flat called, with the idea of check-raising on a good flop for me. Flop comes down J 8 5, rainbow, there's Donal, myself Oberon...
I check, Donal checks (even though I was 80% sure he would try a continuation bet), turn is a 4..... I bet the 100, Donal folds and oberon pushes,

I know, weak tight nitty poker player here..... I am playing really badly at the moment....

oberon - even the blind squirrel and all that milarky

he left up alot - same as he was in for initially - showing bluffs left right and centre

    wp dom, gholi etc

Was oberon not in the blinds?

Anyway Im pretty sure Oberon checked turn, you bet 100, he made it 265 and you pused for 365 total.

What had happened was he asked how much I had left, I thought he bet that amount, and said call, but he had bet less than that.....

Anyway, played horribly from beginning to end..... hand up DONKEY PLAY

FWIW, from playing and talking a bit with Oberon over the past few weeks - aggression from him on the turn and river will probably be weighted much more towards value betting than bluffing as compared to the way he was playing.

I typed this in my original post but i didnt want to tell the world. After an hour or so playing with him last night I felt his turn and river play had changed.

His flop play is still spewey - as in C/R me all in on the flop with a gutshot.

Also, lol at how he may potentially percieve his table image. Couple of limpers for 5 and he ships all in for 60 having just received a beat. Nonie calls with A10, having initially limped for 5, and he is animated with how she could call with it. Im like, lol wtf, she crushes your range..

Yeah thanks for that Lloyd.... Im just way off at the moment, not raising enough, limping, generally the Value.... God, if I keep this up i'll be living in the Bad Beat section..... Head up, learn from your mistakes and move on....
