    Kildare Nationalist and Leinster Leader

    Kildare Nationalist tends to be sold in South Kildare and the Leinster Leader in North Kildare

    The Kildare Nationalist has a great alternative music page in the Pulse, the free supplement and their sport section is pretty comprehensive as well.

    I've never heard of anyone 'round here reading it.

    no they dont cover leixlip - is that where you are based?

    Yeah, I don't really bother with the local newspaper as any/all of the stories are always a few days old by the time they go to print and so you've already heard all the important ones through word of mouth.

    From my experience, The Leinster Leader seems to be the leading "sold" newspaper in South Kildare but maybe it sells even more :-) in the north.
