do ii need planning permission for new garage roof

    my friend has a garage ten years old with a flat tin roof.DOES she need to get planning permission to put on NEW standard tiled roof on the garage ,the garage has planning permission already.THE new roof will be larger as its not flat ,goes up togable at 45 degree angle.

    YES SHE NEEDS P.P. Any change exterior to a construction needs p.p. Especially if the roof pitch effected.. Shouldn't be too much hassle to get though.
