Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hello all, Recently had a laptop meltdown and now on a vista pc.I was on a p4 with a gig or ram on xp on the laptop which was great for mr.The vista is on 512mb of ram and a celeron D 3.33ghz its very slow.Iv found ram for it and have the choice of getting 512mb(Cheaper :p)Or going for a gig.But will there be much…

Hello all,
Recently had a laptop meltdown and now on a vista pc.I was on a p4 with a gig or ram on xp on the laptop which was great for mr.The vista is on 512mb of ram and a celeron D 3.33ghz its very slow.Iv found ram for it and have the choice of getting 512mb(Cheaper )Or going for a gig.But will there be much difference between 1gig and 1.5gig of ram?Also it will mean i can upgrade to 2 gig but will there be much difference on a vista basic machine?

PC's should not be sold with Vista and 512 of ram , its just not enough , to get the same performance as XP with 1GB you need 2GB with Vista. And yes it will make a big difference.

Get as much memory as you can it is really DIRT cheap at the moment.

got a gig from memoryc today will hopefully have ut thurs hope i got the right stuff
