Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

ok I want to put in a fence between myself and the neighbour, the one with the concrete uprights and the 6 x 6 panels so i presume i will have to dig out the foundations for the base..problem is 2 massive ash trees right where i want the fence, they are 50 percent on my side and 50 percent on my neighbours..any fast easy ways to destroy them or will i just have to pay for a digger?

Well first of all have a read of this before you put saw to trunk...... Tree felling laws
If there is any way of retaining the trees, please do, as it is a shame to lose another two natives, while up the road a few tropical palm trees may be in the process of being planted. :)
If you have to remove them you would use a combo of chainsaw for felling, followed by digger/stump grinder for grubbing out/reducing the stump.
If you feel the tree removal job is larger than your experience or skill then please call in a tree surgeon.
Yes, I know they seem quit expensive, but you are paying for their knowledge, correct equipment and comprehensive insurance.
To my mind this always seem like much better value than a possible fall or injury which causes a person to be laid up for weeks on end, or worse.

If it is half on each side, I'm not sure what right you have to remove it, unless they agree.
