Washing Machine Problem

My washing machine sounds like an iron bar is being whacked on it while its spinnning. Its working grand otherwise, just the spin cycle.

Is it knackered or fixable? I don't want to bother getting someone out to look at it if its a waste of time.

    Thanks all.

Sounds like bearings gone in the drum ,

Get a quote for changing them & then decide. That job can be labour intensive & labour is the dearest part, it might be cheaper buy a new one depending on the make.

Thanks Bertie1, I've got a good 7 years out of it, so I think I'll just get a new one if its going to be a big job.
