Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,
Doing some research into upgrading remote access set up.
I want to install a gprs modem onto portable equipment and contact it through its IP address.I intend to use an O2 gprs sim card. The modem will need a dedicated IP address but from what i gather the address may change when reconnecting from power up to the gprs network.Do O2 provide a "dedicated moblie IP"?
Any ideas where I go from here?

No idea whether O2 will give you a static IP in this situation, but if not, then look into dynamic DNS.

if you just want to retreive the GPS data and secrecy isn't important you could look up APRS
