Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Surely some type of mistake there slates!

I have Oil condensing boiler in garage along with solar panels on garage
27 rads three rooms underfloor heating 4 heating zones! Everything supplied except white goods €21,700 and €16,500 and i thought that was a bit expensive

I got quote for 29 rads and oil condensing boiler plus about 15 metres insulated pipe (boiler in garage) for 18k (inc. VAT). I know this is expensive.

For underfloor instead of rads this was going to rise to 24k. I feel this is worse.

He wanted 12k to plumb the water to the house, supply and fit softener, all white goods fitted (not supplied), kitchen sink fitted. He was supplying the necessary piping. This sounds terrible. Am I correct in this?

There's hope for me so! €13500 would represent a good 3 months salary to alot of people in this country. Good luck with the rest.

    Hey slates.

Just to clasrify, the quote for 15,500 included everything in your first post - labour and materials for Oil boiler, Solar system. I assume about 20 or so Rads with 3 zones, Wood pellet stove with back boiler.
Even though the quote doesn't include sanitary ware - does it include the labour for putting it in???

Looks like a good all in figure with the solar panels
