The gf is looking at getting an iPod Touch and wants to use it in her motor.

But, options seem thin on the ground-I haven't seen any active cradles etc. that work with the iPod Touch, only those FM transmitters, which I don't rate.

    Anyone got any suggestions?

    Check out these guys.

Very competitive and loads of choice... Have used them before with no problems. They'll ship to Ireland as well...

What kind of car is it? Honda's OEM iPod kit works with iPod Touch and previous ipods, but not with iPhones.

The kits this crowd sell are compatible with the iPhone (iPod functions only)

I'd assume they'd work with the touch...

I have the ipod touch and I use it nearly everyday in the car. I am using the kensington FM transmitter and it works fine

It will work just like any other ipod. Try stay away from fm transmitters if you can. Dension do some good kits if you don't mind popping out the radio to fit it. Works great and good to have it hard wired. Better sound and can be hidden away from view. Have not yet found a good cradle that makes the whole coverflow thing work well in the car. Thats what I originally wanted.
