Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    i got 260 store credit in gamestop and i think its something like 190 cash

    I think that GAME give just 210 store credit however I find that games trade in prices for games is always than gamestop. I know its a cliche but it does pay to shop around(if you've got time to burn that is)

    hmm 260 would tempt me to offload mine. does anyone know if the stores take em if console has been back to MS with RROD?

    i brought the console i got back from ms after redringitis into gamestop and they just take it to the back and test it , so it's up to you if you tell them or not .

    then the guy came back out and said it was ok and i got €260 store credit.

    they will be none the wiser, they just bring it into the back and see if a game loads up and if it does they are very quick about it, you will have to leave the new xbox there for about 30 mins to an hour so they can transfer your old hdd to the new one.

    I did that a few months ago.The ps3 is very different so you may regret your decision straight away.I was happy with the ps3 but i still missed my 360 so i bought another one of those a couple of months later.I play my 360 more TBH but i expect the ps3 to become more and more useful as time goes on(especially with blu-ray winning)......But there are still loads of great games to come on the 360

    yea i guess thats why i havent got one yet.. prefer xbox live and range of games. also got all the accessories for xbox. its just the whole reliability thing has really killed the experience. had two fails already. maybe i'll trade it in for the new motherboard + probable blu ray xbox due later this yr...
