    I'm about half way through a 12sn7 -> 6V6GT amp, board's milled, waiting for stuff now :D

    I have a mate (and he has other mates) who do this. Very impressive results too.. I mean VERY impressive. They frequent a forum for such things which I'll dig out for you, if only to allow you feel less geeky. I was considering making one from http://www.bottlehead.com/ myself but found an interconnect upgrade satisfied that itch for the time being.

    I'll get that forum link for you over the next few days.

    I'm over on DIYAudio.com, my board has been milled and I've got the valves, just waiting on the trafos to come through from Germany. Anyone got a big inductor?! I need 5H+
