Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sevilla home to Zaragoza on Sky now.

Sevilla hitting some sort of form and Zaragoza the spurs of spain excellent team but only ever play well vs the good teams.

Messi with a fantastic goal and 2 fantastic assists, what a player. Etoo finishing like his old self.

    4-1. Eto'o could easily get a hat-trick tonight

Messi really seems to be coming back into form over the last couple of games. His performances dropped a bit before he got injured and he really hasn't been able to reproduce that explosive form from the beginning of the season. If Messi can get back up to that level for the remainder of the season (and if Iniesta can too), Barça have a real shot at the league and the champions league.

    Btw Kdjacl, it's week 25.;)

Gap 2 points if it stays the same?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,046 ✭✭✭eZe^

Even if they draw itll be 3 points. La liga is ending up like the premiership....

Edit- Thats 4 losses in 5 games for Madrid, 2 points the difference now. Delighted!! =]

Madrid imo are still a deeply lacking team. They have little balance, and their system is still kinda messed up, and not really that fluid. The ability of some of their players have gotten them through this, but there is still too many 'players' and not enough of a team, having somebody like Baptista is evidence of that. Still, race is getting fun :)

Lucky that a deflection fell to him, but he smashed it into the goal... His passes and touch were absolutely breathtaking at times...

Barca are getting back to their best...some cracking play out there. Its scary the amount of young players they have coming through.

Barca...wow...i was delighted to see them play so well tonight...

I don't understand it...as Ronaldinho is getting back to form, so are Barca...? Coincidence?

Apparently, huge props go out to Rijkaard because he had the balls to drop him and help him get fitter...Ronaldinho looked much quicker tonight...and light on his feet...getting back to his best.

Just saw the goals there. Nice little assist from the Xavster as well for Messi's goal.

I reckon its way more Etoo inclusion, he is just so so clinical, and works as hard as Kuyt... =P Also Messi hit top form again. Its pretty much a collective increase in performance from the 3 upfront... Ronnie did look good yesterday though.

Kuyt? Come on...don't compare Eto to Kuyt!

As for Ronnie, he is looking lighter on his feet and way more agile...the skills are all there, he was just lacking concentration and speed before...he's getting there...2009 world player of the year...:)
