Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,
    I live in Cork and have been trying to find some vintage (unused :)) or good quality items such as, bullet bras,boned girdle, long(below hip) underbust corset, suspender belts ( with proper clasps not plastic ones) and proper hold up stockings not the ones with the film of sticky stuff on the top.
    Can anybody recommend a shop either in Cork or Dublin or anywhere else for that matter.

    Hi Clairefrilly, I know you are looking for shops in Ireland but I'm not familiar with any stocking what you want. I can empathise with the online shopping sentiments but just wanted to chime in that www.whatkatiedid.com (not sure if this is who you have already found online) stock everything you are looking for. Personally I bought a corset from them so can't comment on the bras etc but it's absolutely beautiful and actually exceeded my expectations. Also they have a good returns policy, no hassle to refund once you return (unworn) items within 2 weeks. I want a pair of their frilly french knickers next! Good luck!

    I know you want to check out the merchandise in real life but there is very limited selection. You might want to try Agent Provocatuer in Brown Thomas in Dublin. They carry a very decent stocking selection including back seamed. I'd also recommend Arnotts for stockings. For a proper metal boned corset, I highly, highly recommend www.axfords.com. As far as the more old fashioned bras, check out the local department stores because their lingerie tends to be very old fashioned. There is a store on South William Street called La Petite Coquette.
