Syncing Windows Media Player and iphone

    As per title, im hoping to get my hands on an iphone next week and i dont want to use itunes to put music etc onto the iphone. So im looking for a way to sync the iphone with windows media player - i found this software:

    Does anyone know of a free alternative?

    i recommend winamp instead of windows media player

    thanks, so will winamp recognise the iphone and allow me to sync music and videos?

    now you mention it i don't know if it supports the iphone yet but i would assume so

    ill just have to do trial and error - i actually like windows media player so it would be nice to find a free way of synching the iphone to it

    yea i seen that alright, might be worth a try i suppose. The link i have above for the wmp plugin gives u a free months trial - might just pay for a license if i like it, 12 euro wont kill considering the amount im about to spend on the iphone!
