    Hey guys,

    A friend asked me for mySQL help, but it's been years since I did any mySQL work, so I said I'd post his problem here and see what you guys thought before diving into it myself:
    I am trying to connect to a mysql server via c/++. I'm having problems with doing this(don't really know what to do)
    I've been trying to do this tutorial

    but I keep getting an error(connect fatal error LNK1256: ALINK operation failed (80070005) : Access is denied.).

    Should I be following this tutorial at all or using something like mysql++
    or something?
