Demonware in DCU

    speaker from demonware is talking at 3 tomorrow(wednesday). just thought some of ye might be interested to hear what it took to create one of the best games i have ever played, up there with goldeneye!

    What time ? Which room ? Im guessing its open to everyone and not just gamesoc members / some other technology society. Might pop along as the single player Cod4 is epic

    its at 3 in the seminar room, think its open to everyone and would imagine so as its "technology" week here in DCU.

    Aye i go to Dcu and didnt know it was technology week nor which is the seminar room heh. Guessing maybe Somewhere in the henry gratton building ?

    Course Demonware didn't make the game, the multiplayer just runs on all their networky goodness.
    Who was speaking out of curiosity?

    Well it wasnt actually a talk about Call of Duty 4, it was just a tak in general about their company, the middleware industry and games industry, OMAC industries; which is a new company offshoot of demonware which will be making browser based games, overall really interesting stuff, DCU GamesSoc rules for getting them out, they had them out last year along with Havok too.
