Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    off topic..... Wapple/fapna?

on topic, i dont mind i have a half day off work on friday.. brownies take like half hour only thing that takes any time with he banoffie is the boiling of milk!

We could both make one and then i dont have to make a big one!

Wapple is my maple tribute act and fapna is what trout thinks whenever he sees my user name, because of my hot, sexy avatar!

If you're off work I'll leave the banoffi making to you. I've just realised the condensed milk tins are in a box in storage in my old apartment so it would take me longer to make than originally though, cos I'd have to go dog them out!

    Yes, yes you are.

    On your own!

According to wikipedia it's actually spelt Banoffee. So we're all wrong! :)

I propose we refer to it as BE, since nobody can spell it.

Either way, I am going to eat a lot of it.

I take great exception to one of the poll options which reads "I will be in Donegal, worrying the sheep". I see there are 8 people who have indicated their intentions to do this so Im just going to give a warning to those 8 people. Bring your own.

We love our sheep here and theres no way are we going to share them.

    Thats it.

Have you actually opened a tin to check, Brother Tom.

    I know I haven't.

Also. If anyone has tins that they took from the last beers, could they kindly return them?

Orestas, Watna, I'm looking at you two

I was drunk. It was dark. I was thirsty.

Besides, it was my own special recipe - condensed milk, vodka and whiskey. It actually tasted quite nice, as far as I can recall.

    Nothing metro about experimenting.

    Yeah, they are good nights.

I see somewhere in the region of 55 people have said they'll be there, and another about 15-20 saying they are undecided.

That is a LOT of people.

The very first BGRH (only, no LL) had 12 people at it.

Be sure to say hello to me.

    :)
