Had my best week so far this week, fourth week in a row over 2000 points and up to the lofty heights of 3rd. Happy with that (especially considering I haven't seen any hint of a game since last August!).
Yeah Alf Stewarts Army were top scorers this week! To be honest iv not seen much action meself this season....maybe its the way to go!:p

No Jonathan Brown or Gary Ablett this week. Both were late withdrawls.

Even happier that I got rid of Jonathan Brown last week now. He scored well in the first couple of games but since then he just hasn't been worth his price.

yeah got rid of Brown myself, hasnt being doing well in general this year, Bradshaw the main man really for the Lions. But I had damn Ablet as my captain! Big loss there. You got a nice score so far anyway skittlebrau! Have a few players to go tomorrow so hope to close back the gap again.

Yeah you should do. I'll only have 2 more scoring players today.

loss of Ablett killed me this week, usually a certain 150 points doubled, which is just about the gap now. Good tight battle at the top anyway, must claw back the gap next week!

Injuries and suspensions all over the shop means big changes this week -

    * Jonathan Brown replaced by Paul Chapman
    * Matthew Westhoff replaced by Nick Smith
    * Gary Ablett replaced by Adam Goodes
    * Adam McPhee replaced by Rick Ladson

Think Goodes could have a lot of ball against the Bombers and Chapman should stick a few between the posts against the Tigers.

ablett named to start. Cats were hopeful yesterday of him starting and saw it on afl.com.au that he is named on the 22 man team. had to make a couple of changes myself, Symes and Cam Cloke out injured, have one move left so will wait and see how fit ablett is!

How many subscribers are in the overall main league? I can see that im number 4,086 or something(and our top guy in boards.ie is 917) , but i cant see how many other people are behind me......not a major issue really!

Is anyone else having problems changing their team? I've been trying to get a couple of injured players out of the starting team for the last couple of weeks, but every time I change them and click confirm they appear back into the team.

Can't say it's happened to me. I've made 4 transfers each of the past two weeks and have had no problems.

Was trying to change my fantasy team a bit there, but site is acting up, it had my manager playing in forwards!!
    I'll try it again later!

All looks to be good on there now. Just got Gary Ablett and Leon Davis in for this week and still managed to keep both Cox and Sandilands as my ruckmen.

Brought in Ablett myself on the advice of hanton :)
Alf Stewarts Army are looking to make a strong second half of season charge!!

Jeez I'm happy with my mid table finish considering I hadn't looked at it since the second game week.

In fairness it was a very close battle for second place, think i was fourth if not fifth before the last game....sure its only a bit of craic! Hopefully a few more will join in next time and Hanton wont win by as much!

well I wont mind as long as I win again!

T'was a fair aul battle for second alright, chopping and changing between 3 of ye to grab the spot. Having Ablett as captain all year was pretty much the winning of it for me tho. he'll be some price next year to buy.

any sign of this coming around yet xavi? must keep an eye out on the NAB cup for any potential young guns that will be cheap. hopefully we get more to keep an interest in it than last year, ended up only about 5 of us still doing it!
