Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

European camper insurance

I am studying to be a vet in Slovakia, I bought a 1975 Vw camper in Czech Republic, I am going to re-register it as a Irish vehicle (easy as its over 30, I am too) and drive it home in the summer:). But insurance is proving difficult. First Ireland are good, but they only allow 31 day european driving and have limited milage. Dolmen are good too, they allow tempoary european use, but their policy states that the camper must be walk through from front to rear, with an inside height of 1.8 meters, which I dont have..

Is there a policy that covers all of EU without restrictions?!

    Thanks in advance...

Im talking to myself here, but i just rang stuart insurances (which was kindly mentioned on another thread:) www.stuartinsurances.ie. They seem most accomidating, they also have a minimum 6ft interior clause, but when i admitted it was less than this, she wasnt too bothered!

    Any suggestions still appreciated..

Spoke to dolmen again, i told them that i didnt have 1.8m internal headroom, she said, no problem, she also said that the policy is good for all of europe with no set time constraints, so alls well that ends well..

    thanks:)
