yes, there's a kitesurfing school down in Cork somewhere

also look at www.kitesurf.ie for a list of schools/instructors in the country. There's quite a few in Kerry as well and some of them I know and would recommend. There's also a guy in Waterford, so I guess it depends on where in Cork you are.
