Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Peer Guardian equivalent for Vista ?

    Guys,

    Can anyone recommend an equivalent of peer guardian for Vista ? I have PG installed but it keeps getting blocked on startup, I allow it, but I don't get the system tray icon so I'm not convinced it's running.

    Nah, peer guardian isn't web filtering software - its P2P protection - i.e. it blocks known IP ranges belonging to organisations that would have an interest in what you're up to 0_o

    Peerguardian have a release candidate out that is (apparently) Vista compatible:

    It's buggy as hell but it's possible to get it working. Have a read around the phoenixlabs forums for help. Peerguardian v3 will be 100% Vista compatible but it's anyone's guess when that'll be released.

    As an alternative you can use the Safepeer plugin for Azureus; it does effectively the same job.

    Can't get that working at all. Have the service working, but no console or desktray icon so not sure if it's doing as it should
