Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bit of an annoying problem, just going to throw it out there, didn't find anything by googling.. Using XP..

basically I just installed InterVideo WinDVD and want to set it as the default program for .avi files.

Anyway, I go to Control Panels/Folder Options/File Types and then go to set the program to open .avi files, it isn't in the list of 'recommended programs' or 'other programs'. But when I browse and select the program, WinDVD.exe, nothing happens.. it won't change it.. Same story when I right-click the .avi file and click open with/choose program

    Eek!

When you right click on the file and go to open with have you tried ticking the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file"? Dont know if that might change things for ya worth a shot
