    Mostly German jobs, but also a few hundred jobs outside of Germany too.

    It isn't in the link, but their news programme is on now in German on 794 if you have Sky, and in that they also said that BMW want to save I think the figure was €6 billion by 2012 and the weak dollar is killing them too(the US is the company's biggest market), hence the volume of job cuts(I suspect the massive challenges faced by BMW and all other makes with the new emissions rules had it's part to play in it too).

    Well sure with a USD at 1.51 that does not help.
