Desert Island Ingredients

So... You've run aground on a desert island on a boat (that has a huge hole in it - you can't fix it) and you have 3 containers on board. Each container can only hold one ingredient…
You don’t know when you'll be rescued.

What do you choose!!!

This is because with these I can make anything taste somewhat palatable and I can use the salt for preserving also.

I could but then I'd have to have some sort of pot to do that in. Plus, you don't know what fish have been doing to it!

Yes but I'd be too busy foraging for nuts and berries, and fishing ....and building a shelter for when the monsoon rains came.............I think I'm getting carried away now

I'm assuming we'd have some kind of pot for cooking anyway, or could perhaps forge our own. They managed in Lost!

Let's say - the galley on the boat was equipped. And you still have access to the boat - so you'll have pots, pans etc etc.

Rice, black pepper, chili.

Catch the local wildlife, use the pepper and chili to make various sauces.

Served with rice.

Yumm.

Boiling the seawater would get salt, and sterilize the water.

Well since we have pots I'll change my salt to a rice.
