    Im undecided myself, never done it, nor has anyone I know so I have no opinion other than I cant see how it couldnt be awkward! I suppose in this day and age and with how prominent the internet is in our daily lives it was inevitable it was gonna catch on!

    Im open-minded, Id never say never BUT Im just sayin that as of now since I havent done it before I can only imagine it'd be very awkward!

    Aye aye, thats true but there theres no preconceived notions whereas if u "got to know" someone online and then meet them for the first time u have built up an expectation/impression of them. Again not saying it wouldnt work, i just think it would be more awkward than ur usual situation. Not that the awkwardness wouldnt pass, just initially it would be like this IMO.
