    Hi folks
Friend who is bringing her hubby to the Newcastle game on the 30th would like Spurs fans to recomend a hotel that is handy for city center and doesn't require to much train hopping to get to the lane , any decent 3 star will be fine , thanks

Usually stay at the Tavistock or if unavailable the Royal National both only yards from Russell Square and not very far from Euston either. A bit basic but great location and cheap enuff for central London around 85/90 stg for a twin/double room.
If flying into Heathrow you can get the Piccadilly Line all the way to Russell Square. If you're going via Stansted change from Stansted Express at Tottenham Hale and then straight to Euston.
Like I say nothing special but does the job. Its in a nice part of London and only about 10/15 minutes walk from Oxford Street. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. Also the added benefit is that there's usually a share of Spurs staying in both hotels.
You can check availability and book online here at http://www.imperialhotels.co.uk/default.aspx
