    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/mechanics
    me·chan·ic (mĭ-kān'ĭk) Pronunciation Key
    n. A worker skilled in making, using, or repairing machines, vehicles, and tools.

[From Middle English, mechanical, from Old French mecanique, from Latin mēchanicus, from Greek mēkhanikos, from mēkhanē, machine, device; see magh- in Indo-European roots.]

In all fairness, the OP's head/oil pressure switch has rung the threads.

It's gonna take a lot more than a dictionary lesson to sort it out.

Your reply comes across as somewhat condesending.

Condesending not intentional - was meant to be somewhat humourous. ANyhow, the OP has knackered it to the point that a mechanic is necessary now!

It may need to be drilled out and then somehow new threads ground into the block. Presume steep enough bill for this.

I did see the humour in it - but I was also thinking of it from the point of view of a poster in desperation!!

Drilled and re tapped as you said above - the only answer.

    advance pitstop wasnt so helpfull

You'd be best off steering clear of Advance Pit Stop with a problem like that.

kbannon was right - get a mechanic to look at it :D

Sounds like it might need to be re-tapped and a heli-coil inserted....

No idea how difficult it would be to do, without getting bits of metal inside the oil passages of the engine...

Avoid the Main Dealer with this as a start, they'll sell you an engine...

If its a parallel thread the Helicoil will work.

If its a taper thread you're in deep doo doo.

Find yourself an independent specialist, ie a real mechanic who will un f*ck this for you.

Be prepared to pay, he may spend hours on it.
