2.9C here, back up from a low of 2.6C earlier, doubtful of an air frost here.

That cold front caught me by suprise earlier, dumped 3.1mm of rain here, most of which I think was on my head as I was cycling home from work!

It has been drizzling here for the past three hours now.

Been drizzling here since 6 or 7 this morning:(!
12.2mm so far, horrible day although it seems to be stopping now.

Rain seems to have stagnated overhead looking at the radar.
It's pretty unusual for it to rain this long i think, currently 13.4mm , no signs of it abating either.

Its been raining/drizzling since 05:00 this morning, thats 15 hours solid so far:-

34.8mm of rain so far since 10am yesterday morning! I have recorded rain every hour since then - although not raining now. There must be 'local' flodding around the place.

Similar story in Wicklow. Rain every hour since this time yesterday, totalling 24mm. It is clearing now.

Very little rain here over the weekend (considering what was forecast) About 3-4 hours yesterday.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,498 ✭✭✭Mothman

    Sunny all day.
    Currently 9C, max 10C
    Light NNE breeze.

Weather station went mental this morning. I had to install the back up. The recents winds had dislodge the cover and I assume the rains contributed to crreating problems.

Beautiful blue sky with some scattered high cloud, stiff breeze but quite warm when the sun peeks out. Huzzah for being back in the Sunny South East!

About 7 hrs sunshine after 3 dull days. And with the light wind, it didn't feel cold despite the temp in single figures.

    Mostly clear now, 7C
