Nothing wrong with those figures for snow arctictree but will they hold?:)
Does your station calculate wet bulb temps?

    Here its 3.6c
    Dp 0.0c

Temp here at 1.6C, DP -1.5C but as Snowbie said, doubt they'll hold!

There is a wet bulb calculator here, not sure how accurate though, gives me a wet bulb of 32.7F or 0.3C.

Not sure about wet bulb temps - I don't think my station records that. But my mercury thermometer outside is reading close to 1c

    Currently 1.3c by my station.

Yes, the big question is, will these temps hold?. What kind of temp rise are we expecting with the precip??

    4.2c/-1.0c
1.2C in roundwood acording to arctictree's site.
Certainly looks good at the moment for the 2 highlanders:p. Hopefully the temps will hold:)
EDIT: I'm getting faster updates than you Arctictree:p:D

I'd say the precipitation will be very very light, nothing special!

Wet bulb temps need to below 2c for proper powdered snow.
Obviously up at height, you do stand a chance of something more wintry in nature.
With low air temps your having atm, the dewpoints will rise generally across the country in time but if your Dp is just above 0c and the wetbulb temps remain below 2c the chances of snow will occur.
My weather display calculates wet bulb temps(uploaded from VP2) and is currently at 2.1c.

    Air 3.4c
    Dp 0.0c
Wetbulb at 2.1c favours snow here currently atm.(unfavoured in time)

Your elevation will give a better chance for this as your data is much lower than mine.

Air temp i wouldn think will shoot up, dp will rise later though.
In fact i see air temps still falling as the cold air near the surface will get trapped but upper air will get less cold.
I wouldn be surprised to find temps in and around the 3c mark with dp above 1c when precip arrives later in the night.

Air 5.5c and falling with dp of -1.7c steady.
    RH 60%
Temps of 3.2c now and dp has got above freezing at 0.4c
Some intense precip over NI atm.

    1.2c here now.

Just had a look at the radar. Any idea why the UK radar shows much more intensity than the met.ie one?

Any stations in NI showing the temp in the precip?

It just uses more intensification class than ours. The NW radar uses even more still.Good in a way as it shows exactly where the heavier stuff is in the showers/fronts.
