Very windy night here (or so it appeared - only recorded 35mph), it also appeared very wet but only recorded 3.0mm of rain.

Looking through the UKMO rainfall radar for the night all of the Irish and UK radars seemed to have been on and off all night!!!

Impressive shower/squall just reaching me, there is a very weird dark hue. Shafts incredible. 4.5c.

Edit. Distant thunder. Shower seems very intense about 2 mile north and to the south. Breaking up directly over me. Tone of light is very strange, looks like the end of the world.

Edit Edit: passed through harmlessly here. A startling line of 5 black anvils in its wake just to the west northwest.

Heavy rain here at the moment current rain rate 7.6mm/hr which is pretty impressive for frontal rain, was up to 17.4mm/hr about 10 minutes ago.
