    Hi all,

I did not fasten the lid of my garden composter properly and i now have a rat in residence. :(

Any suggestions | recommendations in how to remove?

Would a powerhose do the job?

    Thanks,
    BW

The rat probably has gnawed its way into your bin from the bottom, try setting a trap.
I have found raisins good bait.
Powerhose is a waste of time.

chocolate is a very good bait aswell for mice and rats , its proven to work.

Also if you know anyone with a jack russel or similar hell do the job for ya , then chase the rat off with a hose or shotgun:)

a jack russel would sort that out pretty quick;)

Leave him there. After a few weeks he'l make good fertalizer.

Otherwise, just throw in some rat poison like "Storm."

I am not entirely sure that putting storm into a composter is a good idea.
