I know how to do it.;) what I meant was every time I have checked in last few days/a week it is the same around 3 gigs. It doesn't change when I surf more:confused:

I just tried to check mine and I got the error message "Knowledge server is not responding. Please try later."

It is frustrating though that their stats are never up to date. Sometimes they can lag a week or more behind. I went over the cap a couple of times last year because I hadn't got a clue what the stats were.

They don't charge for going over the limit, so i wouldn't worry bout it. Some peeps dl 130Gb per month, every month on the 3meg 30Gb limit & never even get a letter telling them bout excessive use. Just forget bout it.

BTW, i also find the utility buggy, its still showing last month for me & sometimes i can't log in at all.

Yeah I have heard from a few people working there that they dont
charge for going over the cap unless you are taking the piss.
Normally anything around going 2x the cap is completely
    ignored.

Even at that they warn you in a letter.

Althouth downloading 100gigs+ is taking the piss for those with a
    30gig cap.

I've just checked the eircom broadband stats site this morning and for March it showed that I've 100% of my allowance downloaded!! I don't think there has been enough time in March to exceed my download limit at eircom speeds unless I fell asleep with a bad bad channel on last night (or my computer isn't working correctly more likely).

When I logged on again twenty minutes later it is saying 'block purchased' and 'dslcarryover'. My monthly download usage has been below 60% since October. Anyone have a clue what this is?

And now it's back to normal I just went back in there. (5% downloaded already this month - better lay off the porn and the quantum physics vids)

    What a buggy site

    edit
And now it's back to the 'blocks purchased' malarky and isn't showing the normal picture of downloads for march that it did 5 minutes ago. I despair ...

It's just as well that they don't charge for going over the cap. If a customer doesn't have up to date stats on what they're uploading/downloading, how can they know where they stand?
