New sata hdd

    Hey

    just bought a new 500 GB Sata drive, but windows can't see it ?!

    i've installed it as a second drive, OS is on C:, in sata channel 1 on my MB, the new drive is in channel 2, MB has 4 HDD channels

    Any tips see MB spec in sig

    Got it thanks, needed to right click on my computer and go into disk management to initilise the drive

    Formatted as NTFS and all is OK
