Has anyone tried replacing the door speakers of their cars?
Is it difficult? Would I be better off getting it done at a garage or specialists?

it's easy enough, just get the size required from any of the manufacturer's websites.
it usually involves removing the door cards.
What's the car, and what's annoying you about the standard speakers?

its not that bad at all, it makes it easyer if theres speakers there already so you dont have to run new cables. if its an old car mabe just upgrading the head unit can make speakers sound better if you dont play the music at high levels.... just make sure not to get a head unit with a higher power output than the speakers or it could damage them.... well not if you dont turn it up

Simple job on most cars, as colm said alot of cars need the door cards removed, this is pretty easy just do it nice and slow.Whats the car? To be honest google is your friend most cars will have walkthroughs online in case you get stuck. Its fun doing it your self plus you learn a bit more about your car.
