Level 55 Cheat?

Hey, i read somewhere that you can change some files in your user profile and it will make you a level 55 with all the things you get when you reach that level.

I reinstalled windows on my machine and i've lost my profile, i really CBA to start from scratch again. If i do that will i get steam banned or will there be any problems with my account or anything?

Had a look myself after some of the patches wiped my stats but I dont think they work with v1.5.

Paying someone to play a computer game for you sounds pretty retarded tbqh. The idea with computer games is that you play them to have fun.

I used to think that too, but a couple of mates of mine buy the gold on world of warcraft. They are both big into raiding and dont have the time to grind gold. They are quite happy to pay cash, so they can play a part of the game they most enjoy.

Im not sure I would advise altering files, im not sure about steam but im guessing PunkBuster is still used and PB is one of the most aggressive anti-cheat app's I have come across and is updated extremely quickly. I imagine something as simple as editing values will surely get you PB banned.

PB wil ban you for using exploits to reach Level 55.

There a few ways to do it, one with a d/lable app, all are detectable thank flock.

So if you want you're key and guid banned heat over to the YT and have a look

hey, i have the same problem. BUT, im in college and can only play on the lan with my freinds in the area. (damn proxy)

i jus reinstalled vista there yesterday. i copied my entire cod4 folder from program files, and put it back on the new instal of cod4 but its not picking up my profile. i have to start from scratch yet again!

anyway to get this back to 55 would be greatly appreciated. (i miss my barrett )

Start and re-start the game a few times. Go into some matchs for a few seconds. Same thing happened to me and this solved it.

Nothing wrong with buying gold because the time spent acquiring gold in game is boring as hell. Trading real money for an in game currency is not the same as paying someone to play what is supposed to be a fun part of the game for you. Buying currency can be justified.

It says in the game that u can redo all the ranks again keeping all yur current stuff and u just become more l33t. Apparently it shows on the rank that its your second time around or something. so says the in-game intel messages

Are you talking about the console or pc version? Although I would not be surpised at them not bothering to take that out of the Pc version.

Ok im pissed now

I havent played the game for nearly a week due to work load. So I knock it on and my profile is gone, ****ing gone. Single player is gone too
Anyone else get this? I havent updated or anything. (pc btw)

Why couldnt they have our profiles on a bloody server like any other online game, so that way you could play in Lan's with level 55 and all weapons, no hassel. Im so pissed I wanna smash the disc up!
