Oh hi. I managed to get System Shock 2 awhile ago and I've been trying to play it ever since. The game will install and load without a problem, but just as it opens into the game it freezes. Vista told me when I started the game that there were know compatibility issues but couldn't find any solutions. Anyone know what to do here?

Actually, anyone know of any program that allows you to mimick a windows 98 or 95 environment? Sort of like an emulator except for windows, that might work. I'm not sure what SS2 originally ran on.

TTLG is the place to go for all things SS.

    For example.

Also, check out this site. I recommend the texture upgrade add-on

Thanks Max, appreciate the help but I think I'm doomed. Read the forums, says SS2 won't run in a dual processor environment ='/
